Our fleet

Sea-Doo GTI SE 130

It's the most forgiving jet ski Sea-Doo builds, and that's exactly the point. The hull tracks straight and flat, so you're never fighting the water. Twist the throttle gently and it eases forward. Twist it hard and 130 horsepower open up the whole bay in front of you.

First time on a jet ski? You will feel in control within a minute. Ridden one before? You will notice how planted it stays through turns.

What people say after

Booked through Telegram the night before, no deposit, no stress. The guys walked us through everything on the beach and my husband, who has never touched a jet ski, was doing wide turns within ten minutes.

Emma L.London, UKVerified rider

Came for a weekend on Koh Rong and this was the highlight. The Sea-Doo felt brand new and stable even when I pushed the throttle. Staff spoke good Khmer and English, easy to deal with.

Dara S.Phnom Penh, CambodiaVerified rider

Best twenty minutes of the trip. We messaged in the morning, were on the water by lunch. Life jackets fit properly and the briefing was short but actually useful.

About us

The crew behind Purple Wave

Purple Wave is the jet ski crew of Apsara Resort on Coconut Beach, Koh Rong. We launched for the 2026 season with one simple idea: bring the newest, best-kept machines on the island to its calmest stretch of water. Our small local team rides here every day, speaks English and Khmer, and personally briefs every guest before they head out.

Being based at a beachfront resort means real infrastructure behind the fun: covered storage and daily checks for the fleet, a fixed meeting point on the sand, and staff on the beach from 8:00 to 18:00, every day.

How we keep it safe

  • Life jacket, properly fitted, for every rider — no exceptions
  • Personal safety briefing on the beach before every ride
  • Machines checked daily and maintained to Sea-Doo (BRP) guidelines
  • iBR brakes on every unit — real stopping power on the water
  • Ride zone kept clear of swimmers, staff watching from shore
  • Weather checked before every session — free reschedule if it turns

Questions

Before you message us

How much does it cost?

A Sea-Doo GTI SE 130 is $150 per hour, and up to 3 riders can share the machine. Shorter intro rides and multi-hour discounts are available — message us on Telegram for today's rates and launch promotions.

How long is a session?

The standard session is one hour. Shorter intro rides and longer trips around the island are available on request — tell us what you have in mind.

Do I need a license or experience?

No license needed and no experience required. We give every rider a short safety briefing on the beach before you go out, and the GTI SE 130 is built to be easy for first-timers.

I can barely swim. Can I still ride?

Yes. A properly fitted life jacket is included and mandatory for every rider, and we stay close to shore in calm, shallow water for beginners.

Is there an age limit?

Riders should generally be 16 or older to drive. Younger kids can ride along as a passenger with an adult, water and weight permitting. Tell us the ages when you message us and we will confirm what works.

What if the weather turns bad?

Your safety comes first. If wind or waves make conditions unsafe, we will reschedule your ride to another time, free of charge.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Sunglasses with a strap are a good idea. We provide the life jacket and briefing.

Where exactly on Koh Rong are you?

Our base is at Apsara Resort on Coconut Beach. We can also pick you up from other beaches around the island: Long Set, Sok San or Lonely Beach. Message us and we will send the exact meeting point and a pin.

How do I get to Coconut Beach from the pier?

Coconut Beach is a short longtail-boat or moto ride from the Koh Touch pier where the ferries arrive. Easiest option: message us when you land and we will arrange the meeting point — with island-wide pickup we can often just come to your beach instead.

Do I need a deposit? What if something gets damaged?

No deposit and no prepayment to book. Before the ride we go over the simple rules in the briefing; normal wear is on us, and you are only responsible for damage caused by ignoring those rules.

Can we ride as a group?

Yes. Each machine takes up to 3 riders, and we can send several jet skis out together. Message us with your group size and we will set it up.

Can you take photos or videos of my ride?

Yes — our team can shoot photos and video from the beach, and drone footage is available on request. Ask about it when you book.

Ready for the water?
